How to start a service without a running windows explorer shell? RRS feed

  • Question

  • This is the issue with some detail:

-Explorer shell is disabled by design.

-A batch file used to start windows services will not start windows services without a running explorer shell.

I am experiencing an issue launching a service within windows via .bat file and or .exe file while the "windows explorer shell is disabled."

    NOTE:

Both will launch and run but both perform the same result/not kicking off the designated service
