Can a "Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" app have a UI? RRS feed

  • Are there any know issues with an application being executed by using "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" having a UI, i.e. splash screen with a "ProgressRing"?

    For your question, what does the splash screen with a "ProgressRing" mean?

    As I know, ProcessRing is a UWP control. Could provide the screen shots for us?

    ProgressRing belongs to Windows.UI.Xaml.ControlsWindows.UI.Xaml.Controls and "represents a control that indicates that an operation is ongoing. The typical visual appearance is a ring-shaped "spinner" that cycles an animation as progress continues."
