First of all I would like to wish everyone a happy new year! I really am excited to see visual studio 2010 will be out in the next couple months!
Please let me explain my comment, I recently went into the bookstore I was looking for a good book about sql "stored procedures"(I wish to use this as a good training ground for linq, wcf, silverlight, entity framework) Is it just me but alot of these books did not even mention the table adapter query configuration wizard Please see this tutorial. on this wizard http://www.asp.net/learn/data-access/tutorial-67-vb.aspx
http://www.asp.net/learn/data-access/tutorial-75-vb.aspx also see this tutorial
on manual sql stored procedures
I would appreciate any help anyone could give me on a good book or tutorials
on using sql stored procedures as a training ground for using linq and entity framework, wcf. The book should concentrate on sql stored procedures
I already own a wcf book, sivlerlight and I will look into a linq book as well
Is it just me or why isnt their more books or article mentioning
sql injection attacks and a good book about sql stored procedures
All of these books seem to be a bit out of date... I just believe the quality
of books should be updated a bit more Thank you for listening to me
rant and rave. If you can find any articles books on sql stored procedures
showing how to do it the right way) would be appreciated....Thank you

I appreciate your help and unfortunately this book is too generalized and not what I am looking for,Thank you anyway The book that I am looking for is a book that will solely concentrate on t-sql or stored procedures, not anything else
Let me explain my list
1 An excellent t-sql or stored procedures book I was thinking michael coles or joseph sack's book on t-sql (I need a real meat and potatoes foundational book )I wished these books would have covered the uses of tableadapters
2 a linq book
3 entity sql book(julia lerman has an excellent writing style and I will wait for second edition)
4 a excellent sql administration book covering both asp.net win forms etc
THese book must build upon each other for a strong foundational purposes
for wcf silverlight wpf etc
THank you for your help
