LINQ special functions RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi
Some time ago, when writing a LINQ query, I used some kind of substitute functions. They didn't do anything when called in C# code (just throw an exception), but when in a linq query they transformed to some equivalent SQL function. Like calling "System.Linq.WhatsItsName.IsNumeric()" would transform to "ISNUMERIC()" when the sql was generated.
I can't for the love of god remember what it was called nor find where they are located (which namespace).
    Does anyone know?
