Exchange server 2010 (Exchange Web Service) vs Exchange Server 2007 (Exchange Web Service) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have written a code (.Net C#) for reading emails and sending email and other functionality using exchange Web service 2007. I would like to know is there any difference in Exchange Web Service 2010 for the same? What are the changes I have to do if I am migrating to Exchange 2010?

Also please let me know where do I get the sample code to consume EWS 2010 from C#?

    Thanks,

  • Since EWS in E2010 can do everything that EWS 2007 can do, I can't imagine that you would need to change anything, apart from any server names you may have coded.  If you were going the other way, you may have had to change something, since EWS 2010 can do a few things that EWS 2007 can't.
