Testing Relay Service Bus using Service Bus Explorer RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We have published some REST services on public using Service Bus Relay Services. We want to do a load test and see Service Bus output. I have published the services using webHttpRelayBinding and keep two methods one with no input parameters and one with one string input. But the method returns Json values as response.

I am very new to this tool and my requirement now is to test this two method to get started with. On selection of an relay endpoint, the tool ask me to provide input to Message Text (Mandatory), Message Headers. In the Sender tab, I selected WebHttpRelayBinding and by default some values are present. I just ran the test. It gives error (I must be giving wrong input).

I need to know the below details -

    1. What to provide in the Message Text, as this service is a REST service which can be accessed directly from browser. Can it require any input.

    2. What to provide in Message Header. I can provide details like Accept, Content-Type. Is this input required here.

    3. for a normal REST services which can be accessible from browser (GET methods). what are the necessary inputs required from Sender tab.

Please provide some input to kick start with. I will explore more on this.

The service end point looks like this -

It will provide a json response. first one provide the UTC time with default format, next one with format provided from the request.

    Many Thanks,

    Thirumalai M
