No Windows phone 8 detected on virtualbox

I have installed vs2012 on a virtualbox, installed sdk, vs release 1 as well as opera. I see the ms emulator but when debugging there is no option to change to emulator so when debugging my development I get the error no windows phone 8 was detected make sure the phone is connected and powered on

Hi,

running the dev envirounment in a virtual environment does not meet the system requirements of the
Windows Phone Emulator

Having full SLAT / Hyper-V support in a virtualbox is most likely not given.

Any since that is required for the Windows Phone 8 emulator the virtualbox environment
is most likely the cause for the problem you see on here.
