Locations on a map RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am new to the Bing SDK and have the follwong question.

In my application i am given and address and need to display the map.

    I have two questions:

    1) i convert the address to the geocode, but i get an array of two locations. why do i get two? which one should i use?

    2) i am able to display the map by calling SetView with the location coordinates. How do I put a pushpin or flag or some other indicator where the desired address is located?

    thanks for your help

  • 1) Most probabaly the address details have some disambiguation, causing geocode to output multiple results. Either refine the address or  show the disambiguation box with locations & let user decide which is correct.

    2) use pushpin setLocation or constructor to add pushpin on map.
