Lost TFS Team Project Site after upgrading to SharePoint Foundation 2010

Question
-
I recently upgraded my TFS 2010 WSS 3.0 installation to SharePoint Foundation 2010. During the upgrade, I selected the option to preserve the customized templates, but provide the new user interface/look & feel from SharePoint Foundation 2010.
However, now that I have done this, when I navigate to the Team Project Portal from within Visual Studio Team Explorer, I get the following error message:
Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.
Is there a way for me to restore the original TFS Team Project Portal site in SharePoint Foundation 2010?
Thanks.

Hi vs2010junkie,
Based on my research, I recommend you try the following method to narrow down this issue:
1. Could you tell me if you can open the Team Project Portal in IE? If not, I think the SharePoint 2010 is not updated successfully. I recommend you to SharePoint Forum to ask this question.
2. Can you open the Central Administration, and in the central Administration, can you create a site and open it?
3. Open Team Foundation Server Administration Console, in Extensions for SharePoint Products tab, make true the SharePoint Web Application and Integration Target are right and grant access right for the SharePoint Web application.

Hi
We have a similar (bad) experience.
Is there a way to automatically fix the issue through some utility designed for that purpose?
