VB.net Samples - Windows 8.1 App Samples - Where are they?

Question

The vb.net samples never made it into the preview for the App Samples - even though there were listed and mentioned.

Now after release - the 8.1 App Samples pack no longer even mentions vb.net samples.

What's up with that...
Where are the vb.net App Samples - have I missed them?

Seriously - please DON'T abandon the developers that brung ya!  ;-)

The VB.Net samples for Windows 8.1 are not available yet.  Stay tuned.

Seriously, why not? Has Microsoft decided to abandon VB developers? 'Stay tuned' is hardly an Answer! If these are genuinely planned please give us an ETA.
