Which source to use RRS feed

Answers

  • well if M$ had their own panel then that might be the case, but they don't, so it seems very odd to just take it over and then not bother with it.

I would offer to take the site and maintain it properly, but who to contact ?

    actually they have:

    http://blogs.iis.net/bradleyb/archive/2011/04/12/new-elastic-cloud-services-on-iis.aspx

(or working on some cloud hosting solution). You can check it on this three hosters http://www.iis.net/previewoffers

Cytanium is owned by OrcsWeb and as far as I remember there was someone on this forum from this company. It would be nice to tell us something about this solution if this person is still here and this is not a top secret project :).

  • seems like the site needs updating then, that could obviously cause a lot of confusion and result in peeps using the wrong source.

Does anyone maintain the site anymore? it seems not.

  • that looks more like something to compete with amazon elastic cloud than a hosting control panel.

  • It lacks a lot of features but it allows to create websites + databases and install apps from web app gallery and if we could add FTP and mail server to it it could act as a basic hosting control panel. In my opinion cloud in this solution is web farm framework configured across X Windows systems. What is great about this solution is that it tracks CPU usage (in CPU time taken).
