Small Basic Will Not Open RRS feed

  • Question

  • Every time i go to run small basic a message box pops up saying small basic has stopped working. I tried re installing the program multiple times. I deleted it and the installer also and it still will not run. Does anyone know how i can fix this? thanks.

  • If this is when you run some code in SmallBasic, then please post you code.

    If it is just when you start SmallBasic, suggest you try:

    1] Uninstall SmallBasic using the uninstaller from Control Panel->Programs and Features

    2] Delete the installation directory (usually C:/Program Files/Microsoft/SmallBasic or similar)

    3] Reinstall

    Also check you have .Net 3.5 SP1

    Has it ever worked for you - i.e. previous version installations?  What version of windows do you have?

  • Do you use Windows XP or Windows 7? I think, that SB is not compatible with Windows 2000 or lower and Windows 8.

    Nah... I have Windows 8 and it works fine! :-)
