Can LightSwitch project co-exist with MVC 5 project in the same solution RRS feed

  • Question

  • I already have a MVC 5 project in a solution. I would like to add a LightSwitch project to the same solution. I want to be able to route some requests to the LightSwitch project with enforced security. Is it possible? I know that it you can add MVC to existing LightSwitch project (see reference below) but I want to do the other way around. I also want to enforce the role permission from the MVC project to the LightSwitch? Could someone please clarify and give an example. Thanks so much.

    HI standrewchoi,

If you want to use authentication in lightswitch, here are some options for you:

In addition, you can also take a look at this blog, The integration means that a user will have Single-Sign-On between the ASP.NET Website and the LightSwitch application.:

Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help.

    Best regards,

    Angie
