Deleted two security groups from on-prem AD, now receiving Azure AD Sync errors RRS feed

  • Hello! I recently deleted two security groups from our on-prem AD server. After an Azure AD Sync run, I am now getting sync errors for these two groups. They are still present in Azure AD and are marked as being sourced from AD, so I can not delete or modify them.

    I've attached a screenshot of the error message and relevant info. Any help would be most appreciated.

  • I was able to resolve this issue by temporarily disabling synchronization, removing the groups from AAD, then re-enabling sync.
