Need to set Printing Preferences of a printer at boot time or logon time... RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I am working on a public workstation that everyone else also comes in and work. Once in a while I need to print some labels on the printer defined to that workstation. Unfortunately people constantly change the Printing preferences of the printer on this computer and that causes I waist a lot of label paper specially if some jobs has been queued on that printer and haven't been printed or play around to set my own preferences for that printer...

What I am looking for is via an script to be able, first to delete all the jobs queued on that printer and set the Width and height of label when I log or may be even when that workstation is being rebooted. I looked at the

C:\Windows\System32\Printing_Admin_Scripts\en-US\prnmngr.vbs options but I did not see anything helpful to set the Width and Height of Labels...

Could anybody to help me please?
