Concept for Forward Tracking in WF Activities RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there, I have an interesting subject that I like to pose to all the experts out there...since WF comes under WCF, I hav decided to post my topic here.

Does anyone have any concepts or interesting ideas on how a library can be writtened whereby it can be tied into the workflow foundation to monitor and track all the activites in the workflow...kinda like WF's Persistence..but a little different:

WF Persistence - Tracking what is executed (past states), and what is executing right now( present state).

New concept - Being dynamically at runtime determine what are the activities that are coming up next. (Forward-looking).

For those who have done Java & C++, C programming before...it's pretty much like the Double Linklist. We can know where we are in terms of activity execution, and we know what happened before and what is ahead.

Anyone has any concepts of proven concepts to share?
