Converting datetime column value to server datetime value RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to build a calendar with date time columns. My MOSS 2007 server is in US and I am trying to use this site in India. My server returns the EventDate column value in India format. I want to convert it in US date.

    Eg.

    @EventDate = 05/30/2012 3:00 PM
    Converted Date: 05/30/2012 2:30 AM [US Time]

    I tried to use the function adjust-dateTime-to-timezone, but it gives me an error "adjust-dateTime-to-timezone is not a valid XSLT or XPath function." I came to know that this function is a xslt 2.0 function. I changed my <xsl:stylesheet /> declaration version to version 2.0 but with no luck. How can I check whether I can use this function with my processor? If i cannot use, is there a 1.0 alternative to it? Any help will be appreciated.

  • Hi,

    Check your regional settings and convert it into the US value

  • My regional setting are set to US time zone. Still the Event date that is returned is in other format.

    Event Date Set: 05/30/2012 3:00PM

    Event Date Returned: 05/30/2012 22:00.

    As far as I can see, the event date is returned in GMT time zone.
