Using Azure File Service with DFS

  • Is it possible to use an Azure File Service share with on-premises DFS to create a cross-premises DFS?

    It is not currently possible to to create a cross-premises DFS so to say however, being creative with the service you could absolutely create that illusion that is it cross-premises. Here is some applicable documentation to help you learn how to work with it.

    Thanks for posting here.

    Yes it is possible to share Azure file service with on-prem DFS. I am not too sure whether it is possible to create cross-premises DFS.
