Web References in EID (Daniel Crowley-Wilson) - 2/8/2006 3:00 PM PST RRS feed

Is there any way to add a Web Reference in the EID CTP? I'm building a XAML
front end for MSN Search. I've worked around it by making an assembly that
does the SOAP call, but I'd rather do it directly in the client if possible.

    Thanks,

No, we don't support binding to web-services. I think you are taking the
right approach by wrapping your web-service calls.

    Thanks,

    Hi Daniel,

You could try opening the project in Visual Studio and add the web
reference. Expression Interactive Designer shouldn't have any issues
compiling the project after that because both tools use the same format for
    the projects files.

    ..Thanks,
