Problem with the App Update Process RRS feed

  • I have been notified by a few users that after successfully applying the app update the app no longer worked. I was able to reproduce this issue by putting out an app update with no changes and pulling it to my device.  The app has a local SQL CE database and after the update is applied the connection to the database seem to be failing. This appears to be the issue the users were explaining. 

    Only way to rectify this issue was to uninstall the app and reinstall from the app store. Has anyone else came across a similar issue? Also is there a plan for a development app deployment platform so these updates can be tested before they are released to the public?
