• Wow, i updated this great VS Community compiler 2013 with Update 4. Everything seemed OK and there were no problems, except that the file specstring.h is damaged and prevents almost anything from a clean build, because it is involved as an additional file. I already learned, that it is also used by other components like the Windows SDK and therefore no integral part of VS. I already tried (1) the VS repairing option, (2) installing more components, (3) using the previous version of specstring.h from the Windows Kits 8.0 folder (i got 8.1) and also (4) cleaning the registry and another repair run. But still specstring.h is the same damaged file and - of cause - causes the same problems. I would like to ask before reinstalling the whole VS package including NET.

You mean after switching to VS2015, your problem was solved?
