Biztalk 2013 Installation WCF LOB Adapter SDK RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm in stalling the WCF LOB Adapter SDK adapter pack on Biztalk 2013.
When I install the WCF LOB Adapter SDK adapter I get the following warning:

Microsoft WCF LOB Adapter SDK is installed, but the following components are not installed:
-Tools component is required to develop applications using Visual Studio.

I found a similar situation on this site (http://blog.codit.eu/post/2012/04/03/Troubleshooting-the-WCF-LOB-SDK-installation.aspx)
So I uninstalled Biztalk and re-installed it again, making sure that WCF for BizTalk Runtime and Administration Tools And Monitoring was checked.
But when I tried to install the
WCF LOB Adapter SDK adapter pack again, I got the same warning.

Has anybody come across this issue, and know how to resolve it

    Many thanks

    KB

  • Sorry, what issue are you trying to resolve?

Since you didn't mention Visual Studio, I'll assume it is not installed so this warning is correct but you can ignore it.

If you do intent to develop apps, then you need to install Visual Studio and the BizTalk Design Tools.
