Does my ressource language in the Manifest are well defined ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have an application in 11 languages.
    The app has been published without localisation for the market place, so I added these ressources language to do it :

      <Resources>
        <Resource Language="de" />
        <Resource Language="en" />
        <Resource Language="es" />
        <Resource Language="fr" />
        <Resource Language="it" />
        <Resource Language="pt" />
        <Resource Language="ru" />
        <Resource Language="vi" />
        <Resource Language="zh-Hans-CN" />
        <Resource Language="ja" />
        <Resource Language="pl" />
      </Resources>

    But Microsoft was unable to validate the app : it crashes every time.
    I can't reproduct the bug myself, but it's the only difference I have in my code, so i think this is the source of the problem.

    Do you see a problem with these ressources ?

  • The app has been validated with these ressources :

    <Resources>
        <Resource Language="fr" />
    </Resources>

    i also tried with these :

    <Resources>
        <Resource Language="de" />
        <Resource Language="en" />
        <Resource Language="es" />
        <Resource Language="fr" />
        <Resource Language="it" />
        <Resource Language="pt" />
    </Resources>

    but Microsoft notify a systematic crash...

    so i think the probleme is in one of these ressources:

    <Resources>
        <Resource Language="de" />
        <Resource Language="en" />
        <Resource Language="es" />
        <Resource Language="it" />
        <Resource Language="pt" />
      </Resources>

    but i have no clue on how to resolve it...

  • What is the error? Do you define all of your resources correctly for each of those languages?
