Accessing calendar information in exchange server 2003

Hi,

I am a newbie to Exchange server. I am looking at ways to access the calendar information programmatically from Exchange Server 2003. What are the different approaches available ? Are there any Webservices avaialable to use ? Any APIs exposed by exchage server 2003 ? Any help will be greatly appreciated,

With Exchange 2003 you have 3 methods of accessing the Exchange store you can use MAPI (via CDO 1.2,Outlook Object Model or ExMapi), WebDAV or Exoledb. Depending on what you are coding in and the location where you run your code (and also what you want to do) will usually determine what you end up using. Eg if you want want to run some code remotely that just reads the appointments from a Calender using .Net you might want to look at WebDAV.  see http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/e2k3/e2k3/_exch2k_searching_calendar_folders_webdav.asp

(there aren't any WebServices for Exchange 2003 these are new in Exchange 2007 if you are migrating anytime soon developing using the new WebServices would be the way to go).
