customizing slider bars RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

i am new to wpf but I wanted to make a slider bar wherein the values range between 1 to 100 and the increment and decrement should come from the code which is in c++ (not managed)....anyway i have two questions

    1. is it possible to make such sliders.. i know there is a slider option but thats not how i want the slider thing to look like.. it should have more like the progress or volume bar format that we have.. wherein u can see the increment or decrement as small color blocks in a column.

    2. Does anyone have any idea how do i link this with the c++ code in visual studio

  • You can style the slider any way you like, that is one of the best parts of WPF and Silverlight. Just edit the template and draw what you want.

How does the managed portion interact with the unmanaged portion of your app?
