[PHP][Web Apps] Why is My WordPress Premium theme not Installing on Azure RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi guys,

I have just succeeded in pointing my domain name to my azure.net account. Now that I want to install my premium theme, I get a response

"Are you sure you want to do this?"

I googled what the cause of this error could be and I found out that my allocated memory might be too low or other problems. Can anybody here explain what else I can do to resolve this problem? Thanks.

  • Hi,

Please try to download the theme from wordpress theme site: https://wordpress.org/themes/ , and upload the theme to your azure web app wordpress folder via ftp, refer to http://blogs.msdn.com/b/waws/archive/2015/02/16/azure-web-site-ftp-credentials-per-site.aspx  for more information about how to connect to azure web app via ftp, when you connect to your wordpress, click site->wwwroot->wp-content ->theme, then upload your theme to this folder, after these steps, you will see  theme in wordpress Admin portal, we can avoid install step via this way, maybe this could resolve your issue.

  • Hi,

Can you clarify if you are using Azure WebApps (Websites) or Cloud Service (Web & Worker Roles) service to host your Wordpress site?
