How to see printer drivers installed in a C#.Net code? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have a .NET application and there is a server where the application is hosted. When I’m logged into the application and want to print anything, I see the local printers that are on my machine. Is there a way that something can be set so that when a user tries to print anything from within that .NET application, he see only the printer drivers that are installed on that server and not local on his machine?

  • The print dialog box is a function of the web browser, which does not have access to the server.  You would need to not only code an interface with the printers on the web server, but also create code that takes the pages html and outputs it to a printer.
