Performance Counter for BizTalk .NET Adapter for Oracle DB RRS feed

Answers

  • To specify in simple terms, this performance counter is the total time the adapter spends waiting for a response from the LOB. The adapter measures the time that the LOB operation took to complete (for example execution of the query is one LOB operation), and adds up the total time spent.

There are separate instances of the perf counter per process and per operation that you're invoking on the adapter. So, if you call Insert on table A and Insert on table B in the same process, both will be recorded in separate instances of the performance counter (which can be distinguished by the name). Invoking the same operations again and again from the same process instance will result in updation of their respective performance counters.
