  • It depends which "logo" you are talking about. If it is the image that shows up as an icon in the corner of the application or on the icon in the task bar you set that through File>Options>Current Database> Application icon.

If you are talking about each form or report you need to select an image file for the image control. But what you are showing us is an unbound object control. In this case it is a Word document OLE type. You need to select the existing image control and then set the Picture property to the file you want.

If the original developer follows standard practices they might have created a sub form and sub report to hold the image and then just put that sub on every form/report that needed the logo. As far as I know there is no single place to set an application's logo except in templates that propagate that control throughout the install procedure.

If you can post an example we might get a better idea of what you need to do.

  • Thanks

I went with the approach of replacing that control with Image and adding logo.

Existing one was an word document with logo in it...

Thanks for the clarity and help!

  • You're welcome. That word doc with the logo is really overkill. The file size is probably much bigger than a jpg.
