BinScope GSFunctionOptimizeCheck fails for MFC functions RRS feed

  • Question

  • I try to pass BinScope tests for my VS 2012 C++ MFC application

and I see that GSFunctionOptimizeCheck fails for MFC functions:

    • D:\bvn\c-rover\vmzs repository\Debug Rus\vmzs.exe - GSFunctionOptimizeCheck ( FAIL )
      • NonOptimizedGSFunction1 :
public: virtual int __thiscall CMFCColorBar::CreateControl(class CWnd *,class CRect const &,unsigned int, int, class CPalette *): /GS could not perform stack reordering because optimizations were disabled.
      • NonOptimizedGSFunction2 :
protected: virtual void __thiscall CMFCVisualManagerOfficeXP::OnDrawSeparator(class CDC *,class CBasePane *,class CRect, int): /GS could not perform stack reordering because optimizations were disabled.
      • ...1000 more...

What could be a reason for that and how to correct my application or use proper settings?

In my project configuration I have compiler and inker settings as reccomended in docs and all my functions are OK with this test.

    Thank you

    Vladimir
