Blood Glucose After fasting or Non-fasting RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want to add another field to the BloodGlucose measurement entry where I want to enter data 'after Fasting' 'Non-fasting'. How do I do that?
    My function for adding BloodGlucose measurement entry  is as follows:

        void AddBloodGlucoseMeasurementEntry()
        {
            Int32 bloodGlucoseMeasurementval = Convert.ToInt32(user_BloodGlucoseMeasurement.Text);
            String bloodGlucoseBloodType = Convert.ToString(BloodType.Text);
            BloodGlucoseMeasurement value = new BloodGlucoseMeasurement(bloodGlucoseMeasurementval);
            BloodGlucose bloodGlucose = new BloodGlucose(
                new HealthServiceDateTime(DateTime.Now), value,
                new CodableValue(bloodGlucoseBloodType));
            PersonInfo.SelectedRecord.NewItem(bloodGlucose);
        }

    Thanks.

  • Deep,

    I believe the normal approach is to use the Notes field for this kind of additional information.  If you use the www.healthvault.com UI to add or edit blood glucose measurements, that is the field presented to the user with suggestion text to that effect.

    To do that programmatically, you'll want something like:

    bg.CommonData.Note = "Before Meal";
