  • Question

  • 1.  Why does Small Basic make a separate new console window pop up when I execute the file from inside a console window? How do I make it run inside the same console?

    2. What is the syntax for adding comments inside the code?

    3. Is there an exit/quit/end statement to quit from an executable instead of always having to hit return at the "Press any key to continue"?

    Best Regards,

  • 1. You can't do that today.  All EXEs are compiled under Windows subsystem and will popup a separate window.
    2. Prefix your comment with a single quote (')
    3. You can use Program.End() to end your program without prompt.
