Can we create simple Alerts of Due Dates for a Contract Renewal Date Column in a SharePoint 2013 list RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have a list in SharePoint 2013 that shows our vendors and their due dates for contract expiration. We are looking for a way to set up a due date reminder so we can have it send an email when it gets close to the date listed for each vendor. Is this possible in SharePoint 2013?

  • Hi,

I agree with Velu k, you can also use information management policy settings:
Go to List Settings->Information management policy settings->Item->Enable Retention:

Then create a SharePoint 2010 platform workflow "Send an email" in SharePoint Designer 2013.
