How to preview a php web page with Microsoft Expression Web? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm newbie here, and I've a question about Microsoft Expression Web 3.

On my web site, I've a php page index.php, and when I preview it, I launch Internet Explorer but the page is not decode by php. I see the content of php code, and the address bar contains the file like "D:\my website\test\index.php" otherwise http://localhost/test/index.php

    Can you explain why?

    Thanks by advance.

  • You need to install php and then set EW to preview the site using the developement server.

For step by step instructions, open EW, press the F1 key and search help for:   Previewing a PHP page
