Implementing Snapped view

    Question

  • I have a GridView in my my landscape mode. For the snapped view, I collapse this GridView and instead show a ListView (collapsed until then). Alternatively, I could handle this via State changes using VisualStateManager (varying certain properties of my GridView for the snapped mode). Which of these approaches would be more performant?

  • Hi Liji,

We can handle the SizeChanged event, use VisualStateManger.GoToState method in that event handler. It’s recommend as the following code sample. https://code.msdn.microsoft.com/Layout-for-windows-that-d496d054/.

If you have any concerns, please post more information about your scenario.

    Regards,
