Powershell - call a url and pass in credentials to Windows Security popup with auto submit RRS feed

  • Question

  • I need to call a URL in Powershell.  The call is fine, but then a Windows Security popup box comes up for user name and password.  Is there a way to enter that information and have the "OK" button automatically clicked so that the page is rendered?

Below will call the popup, but nothing is entered for the user name and password.  After I manually type that in and select ok, the page comes up as expected.  Just need to automate the Windows Security popup part.  Any help is appreciated.

    $IE=new-object -com internetexplorer.application
     $user.value = "User Name"
     $pass = $doc.getElementByID("Password")
