Power Pivot Perspective error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi We use Excel 2013 Power Pivot.

I have created a perspective as per the tutorial using contoso DB.

There are 3 calculated fields with FactSales table and those feilds are selected in the perspectives too. But the following error is appearing in the page of FactSales under perspectives,

"The table contains calculated fields, but PowerPivot can't display them. This may be because there are too many calcluated fieds to display, or because all column in the table are set to be hidden in both the PowerPivot window and in client tools. If all columns are being hidden in PowerPivot, you can display the calculated fields by selecting Show Hidden."

Also I am not able to use this perspective for reports purpose.

Can any one help me in this ?

    Thank you!

  • I ran into the same error, but it appears the issue occurs if you've selected Calculated Measures without having selected any fact from the table that contains the Calculated Measures.  In the Contoso example, if you select also SalesAmount, the error appears to go away.
