Can I have a GridView that scroll vertically?

    Question

  • I want to display data in a GridView that scroll vertically, but now it always expand horizontal. I see the maxRows property in GridLayout to limit the rows display in grid, but don't see any property limit columns. I try to use ListLayout with 3 or 4 images in a row, that's OK. But the problem is I can't select each icon, just can select a row. So can I have a grid that scroll vertically, not horizontally and how to do?

    Thanks,

  • Vivian,

I do not see a way to do this.  You can create your own html on the fly however (like a table) and use that to scroll vertically.  A list view can be used to as you already tried, and you could do some hit testing to do selection, but this would be something you would do manually.
