HDD Performance

Question

Hello, I'm not sure this is the correct forum but here goes.   I have a Dell Precision laptop with 2 hard drives.   Both are SSD's.   I am getting very slow performance on one of the drives.  In PerfMon my response time is very slow.  But how do I tell which HD is the one with the slow performance?

Hi，

Thanks for posting here.

You can use the Get-PhysicalDisk to get the disk number, the serial number of the physical disk,  MediaType(SSD,HDD), HealthStatus, etc.

Then, use winsat disk(need to run cmd/powershell as administrator) to check the performance with the specified disk number(such as "0" in my environment)

Hi,

You can know which SSD is slow and how slow/fast it is.
Please use CrystalDiskMark (a benchmark freeware).
