  • I have an on-prem Oracle DB which is unencrypted, I want to import data from this DB on daily basis how can the data in-transit can be encrypted , I'm using Azure Data Factory with Self Hosted IR with VM and VNET integrated , If i use this tech stack how well will my data get's protected any details will help me

  • Hi Rocio,

    This is the security features that you can used in ADF

    Security features:

    Data encryption in transit, all data transfers between data movement services in Data Factory and a cloud data store are via secure channel HTTPS or TLS.  Data Factory does not store any data except for linked service credentials for cloud data stores, which are encrypted by using certificates.

    Data Factory has been certified for:

    • CSA STAR Certification
    • ISO 20000 – 1:2011
    • ISO 22301:2012
    • ISO 27001:2013
    • ISO 27017:2015
    • ISO 27018:2014
    • ISO 9001:2015
    • SOC 1, 2, 3
    • HIPAA BAA
