Office Online Server - Edit Binary Format Documents - ExcelConvertAndEdit.aspx returns 404

Question

Hello,

We are trying to integrate Office Online Server with our application. While trying to edit binary formats doc, xls, ppt.., firtsly file is converted by EditAndConvert service then editing is doing on converted version. Convertion is working for doc and ppt but not for xls file. The url for Excel is https://<our.domain>/x/_layouts/ExcelConvertAndEdit.aspx. This service returns 404- File Not Found although aspx file exist on file system.

After some search we faced some uncertainty about support of editing xls files.

So what could be the reason that Excel conversion service is not working?
