    Do you add a references called “'SmergeRuntime”? If so, maybe you could remove it and re-add it again. Or you could check the property for this assembly, set the Copy Local to true, check it. In addition, please change the platform target to Any CPU, also make sure that you select the correct .net Framework version for your project. Re-build it again.
