  • it occupies almost 1.5 GB of space. some computers can hardly donate that kind of space without knowing WHY?

  • The .NET Framework(s) on your computer provide support for most of the Windows applications you use every day.

    FYI, .NET Framework 2.0/3.0/3.5 is all ONE framework. 2.0 is the base, full, framework. 3.0 and 3.5 are extensions to 2.0, and cannot exist without the 2.0 base.

    The storage space is not excessive when you consider that removing the framework will probably render many of your favorite programs unable to run.
