  • Is there a way to save emails outside of outlook without having to opening the email to see when it was recieved?

  • No matter how your code saves an item to the file system you'd have to open it to see properties such as when it was received. The same would apply to an item saved somewhere in an Outlook data store.
     
    Some ways of saving would preserve that information, some would lose it completely.
