Can anyone help me find documentation on the "trafficCongestion" output parameter for when I am calculating a route between two waypoints? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I tried looking for a "trafficCongestion" description but I could not find it. Through guessing and checking with various longitudes and latitudes I was able to so far see that there is a "Heavy" and a "Mild" output but I cannot seem to see any other results with any test inputs, such as two close by and remote towns.  Here is where I found this information: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff701717.aspx#Response

Here is where I am getting the data:

    http://dev.virtualearth.net/REST/v1/Routes/Driving?wayPoint.0=34.0522342,-118.2436849&Waypoint.1=34.0424143,-118.26659480000001&key=$myKey

Screenshot if anyone wants to see:

Can anyone shed some light what are the possible results for "trafficCongestion" and some more insight on how this result is derived?

    Thanks!
