Server 2008sp2 role: IIS 7.0 - more proccess w3wp.exe running. RRS feed

    Hi, my server DELL 2850 run Windows Server 2008 sp2 4mb ram, IIS role. over 1 AppPol with 16 websites using php extensions.

    ISAPI filter enable C:\PHP\php5isapi.dll: php5isapi.dll  file version: 5.2.6.6  product version: 5.2.6.0  2/5/2008

    the server takes all available memory w3wp.exe processes.

    task manager details:

    "PHP" is my AppPool name.

    w3wp.exe   11116   username  c:\windows\system32\inetsrv\w3wp.exe -a \\pipe\..... -v "2.0" -I "webengine4.dll" -h "c:\inetpub\temp\apppools\php.config" -w "" -m 0 -t 20 -ap "PHP"

    at command iisreset /stop don´t stop the proccess w3wp.exe.

    in normal work only has 2 processes running w3wp but no more.

    anyone know if a bug is found or there is any update available to resolve this incident?.

    Please understand that when you use php5isapi.dll you are not using IIS 7 FastCGI module for PHP.
