How to make an ICOP DOM bootable? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have an old legacy system utilizing a 3.5 floppy to run sys on a shell of a computer with a floppy drive.  The wires are connected to an ICOP.  We use this system to have the autoexec run a sys command to format the Disk on Module (DOM) to be bootable.  The current process cannot be utilized on my Windwos 7 command due to the sys command phaseout with Windows XP.  We are attempting to transfer to a USB programming method, but am unable to make the DOM bootable.  DOM is mounted on a IDE to IDE connector and attached to a USB 2.0 to IDE converter.   How do I make the DOM bootable from my Windows 7 computer?
