    How can i cover a polygon on a city of Bing Map to Red color?  

    In fact, how can i get points of frontier of a city or a region or a adminstrict?

    I actually want to have something looks like :

    Could you give me some samples?

  • As I'm sure you have found the key is to find the data. This type of data is not normally available in mapping API's. Once you have the data, say an ShapeFile you can then work with it so it can be loaded into Bing Maps. I would suggest loading the ShapeFile into an SQL 2008 or 2012 database and then using the Reduce method on the data to reduce the resolution. THis will significantly reduce the size of the data and make it easier to integrate in.
