  • When trying to call

    SPUtility

     

    .GetPrincipalsInGroup  the following Error was thrown

     

     

    The trust relationship between the primary domain and the trusted domain failed.

    note that sharepoint installed on my machine and i am trying to access the personal Web Site
    as    SPSite(@"http://World/personal/jafarn/")
    and the installed OS is Windows Server 2008  SP1
    any one have any Idea what cause this error?

  • What update level are you running?  I recall that this error message was fixed in the Feb 09 updates.  Have you applied them?

    by the way I am using Vs2008 as IDE  developing Web form that will be deployed into MOSS  so when this Error happend i am actually
    trying to call the Web Site from MOSS by creating new SPSite rather than using SPContext dos this make any defferance i.e "creating new SPSite rather using SPSontext"?
