Can I build a simple client-server application via Azure ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi devs,

I have this homework at university that we have to build a simple client-server application and I thought that if I could build my application via Azure instead of building it on my local machine that would be great.

    any help ?

  • Bassel- We have a few tutorials that show you how to build a simple Azure DocumentDB application. Seeing as Azure DocumentDB is a managed service, it handles the server side for you - so make sure your professor is ok with you using a cloud service as your server. :) Depending on your language of choice, we have a very simple .NET or Node.js console tutorial on Write your first app or you have your choice of .NET, Node.js, Java, or Python on the Build a Web app. Any of those will walk you through app creation your first time, then you can create a new project to handle whatever scenario you dream up.
